CHEWING BOOM

Design for Health | Cultural Insight | Product System Hong Kong, 2023

This project began with quiet observations of campus life—where alcohol flows freely, but knowledge does not. Amid endless choices and low awareness, casual drinking often slips into dependence.

Rooted in Confucian ideas of ritual and restraint, the project reimagines drinking as an intentional act. Through alcohol-infused candies with precise content, it offers a mindful alternative—inviting awareness over excess, and proposing a cultural recalibration of youthful indulgence.
